- Working as part of the ABB Beijing Drive Systems R&D department.
- Part of the Drives Digital organization in China and globally.
- Developing cybersecurity solutions to IoT connectivity devices and drives in general and related accessories such as options, PC tools, etc.
- Supporting new product development projects to fulfill internal and external cybersecurity requirements by design reviews and other means.
- Support management in assessing cybersecurity compliance of new products and solutions.
- Supporting technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies.
- Actively following and participating in Chinese standardization and regulation regarding cybersecurity of industrial products.
- Analyzing customer needs and transferring into technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy security development lifecycle process and practices in ABB Drives China organization.
- Training and raising the awareness about cyber security within the whole local R&D organization.

- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field is required.
- At least one of the following certifications is required: CISSP, CASS, ISA, CSSLP, or ECSP, TISP in combination with TPSSE, CSSLP (or comparable).
- Working knowledge of NIST, Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM).
- Know well about China cyber security related laws and regulations.
- Experience with relevant work in security penetration testing, implementing comprehensive application testing methodology, supporting security in DevOps processes and discerning an organizations security controls for application software based on vulnerabilities and business needs.
- More than 5 years of work experience is prefferd.
- Advanced ability to identify security vulnerabilities from code reviews and testing.
- Excellent knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as parameter manipulation, injection attacks, buffer overflows and cross-site scripting.
- Knowledge of application functionality such as authentication, authorization, data validation, encryption, exception handling, logging and language frameworks.
- Understanding of industrial products development processes.
- Good Chinese and English communication skills (in word and writing) and positive attitude.
- Proactive working attitude and willingness to train and coach other engineers.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, a few weeks per year.
