• Design reliable and structured firmware in MCU in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives.

• Conduct functional tests for new designs or modified existing designs to evaluate firmware performance.

• May prepare proposals and cost estimates, and work schedules to meet completion dates and technical specifications.

• Define optimum design criteria and operating characteristics of subassemblies and complete instruments.

• Prepare documentation such as sourcing code, firmware structure, schematic diagrams, test procedures, theory of operation, and purchased part lists, instruction manuals and related information.

• Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in applicable engineering field.

• Finish other related duties on time as assigned.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Required:

• Bachelor or above degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or .

• Strong programming and debugging skills of C, C++

• At least 2 years design experience on firmware.

• Embedded software knowledge.

• Fluent communication both in Chinese and English.

• Excellent team work spirit.

Desired:

• Knowledge of embedded Linux kernel (e.g., boot loader, u-boot, various drivers) and multi-thread application development experiences

• Familiarity in PC software design.

• Familiarity in hardware design.

• Equipment design experience under lean manufacturing environment.

• Experience and skill set on infrared temperature measurement related is a plus, although it is not a Must-to-Have.
