We are looking for a Customer Quality engineer in Drive Products Product engineering and Quality department Quality and Reliability team. Quality and reliability team is responsible for analyzing and improving product quality and reliability. The team owns processes of field failure analysis, failure root cause analysis and reliability testing. Team runs standard failure analysis processes and provides support in customer case resolution, design quality and reliability improvement
Customer Quality engineer, you are improving quality as seen from the customers’ perspective. In this position you have an opportunity to participate solving interesting customer cases arising all around different industries. You are working in close cooperation with our end customers, product engineers and suppliers, being based in Beijing.

- Responsible to actively follow our customers’ quality experience based on statistical data, communication with our global engineering team, sales network and customers directly.
- Working on failure analysis of field failure cases including root cause analysis, collect and investigate the failure background, and based on failure symptom, design and carry out the test plan, find out the root cause.
- Test and analyze failed modules returned from customer field, utilize systematic tools to record analysis findings, feedback to Product Responsible Engineer and compile professional failure analysis reports.
- Utilize the failure analysis platform to do statistical analysis and find out the weak point of product and analyze the cause, finally propose action to improve the quality
- Develop the related tools & test methods.
- Analyze and monitor component/PCBA failures, to find out root cause and support Product Responsible Engineer to figure out corrective actions, write test/analysis report to summarize supplier’s quality.

- Must have bachelors or M.Sc. in electrical engineering or another relevant field.
- A few years’ work experience with drives is preferred.
- Understanding of electrical circuits schematics and applications wiring diagrams
- Basic failure analysis competence and understanding of failure analyses methods and the ability to create and analyze statistical data using MS Excel, PowerPivot, Power BI and Minitab.
- The ability to work effectively in a cross functional team and familiar with electrical equipment and tools, strong awareness of safety.
- Fluent English communication and documentation skills and willingness to continuously develop competence in the failure analysis and related tools.
- Ability to communicate directly with customers by face to face interaction and written reports.
