This position is based in Nanba, Dazhou City. Work schedule is 28 days on, 28 days off. Company will provide accommodations on days on. Transportation is to be provided from home location to Nanba. Salary is paid over 12 month period. Please provide CV in English.
Job Description:
Ensuring logistics governance across the project in line with CDB standards and Procedures. Review the costing of all field Logistics contracts and negotiate to achieve cost effective and high quality service
Identify new vendors when required.
Manage Project Logistics requirements with all parties related to CDB Project, to consistently provide a level of service that meets or exceed customer expectations.
Supervise vehicle arrangement
Manage and oversee the Motor vehicle supply vendor pertaining to field operations.
Guide the drivers to comply with Chevron's policies and be safety-oriented via regular trainings and meetings, such as Defensive Driving Training, vehicle safety training and daily safety toolbox meeting.
Monitor GPS system, and own the Motor Vehicle Safety (MVS) process.
Inspect drivers performance and address any shortcoming to make sure incident free operation.
Handling logistics relative expense report.
Adherence to safety and controls.
Formulate and implement a Logistics Strategy and Plan.
Reporting and investigating motor vehicle incidents in conjunction with the HES team.
Technical, Personal competencies and Managerial Requirements:
Competency in Excel, Visio, Word and Outlook essential
Exceptional presentation skills.
Analytical.
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills in Chinese & English, preferably TEM 8.
Relationship-building, Interpersonal, Managerial/Supervisory skills are essential.
