As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Motion (M) Business and Drives Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (M) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will drive improvements throughout production in Drive Products Product Group/ Drives Business Line (BL)/ Motion (M) Business, in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

- Responsible for preparing technical management specifications, automation project acceptance specifications of automation systems and equipment.
- Responsible for preparing maintenance specifications, verification requirements and inspection specifications of automation systems and equipment
- Responsible for organizing spare parts management, spare parts demand and spare parts selection of automation system and equipment.
- Responsible for organizing automation project construction plan, construction process supervision and construction progress control.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and repair work of automation system and equipment to ensure the stable operation of automation systems.
- Responsible for hardware and software modification and improvement of automation system and equipment.
- According to the change of production process, modify and improve the control logic and control scheme of configuration software of automation systems.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- University Degree, major in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and other related majors.
- 3+ years of experience in relevant Automation System Integration Company.
- Experience in debugging and using ABB robots is preferred.
- Familiar with PLC programming of Siemens, Omron or other brands.
- Familiar with the use of robotic systems and teaching aids and with Servo Motion System and Products.
- Familiar with the Likong or C# configuration software.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.
