As a Project Management Engineer, you will be part of the Motion (M) Business and Drives Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (M) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will be a vital member of the Project Execution team in System Drives Product Group/ Drives Business Line (BL)/ Motion (M) Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

- Manage the assigned projects to ensure the fulfillment of all project goals, in term of on-time, on-cost and on-quality deliveries.
- Site management for complex projects. Organizing open case inspection, installation and commissioning coordination, customer site acceptance. Etc.
- Define project execution plan and resource usage, monitor the project execution and initiate the corrective actions to solve the project problem.
- Follow up production schedule to ensure the timely and qualified delivery.
- Communicate and coordinate with the customer, sales, engineering, finance and customer service people for the project execution (including payment, engineering, factory acceptance test, goods delivery, commissioning and training etc.)
- Conduct the project specific procurement and supervise the subcontracting.
- Clarify the project open issues, evaluate the project risks and manage the project risks.
- Report the project data and statistic, and provide progress report and forecast report to the concerned stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Electrical Construction rules.
- Familiar with Project management tools (e.g. MS Project, SAP).
- Familiar with local norms of electrical installation and commissioning.
- Commercial knowledge in project business （e.g. Contract Law, INCOTERMS.
- Willing to travel frequently on business work.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
