As a Mechanical Engineer_ACS580MV, you will be part of the Motion (M) Business and Drives Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (M) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will be a key member of the team in System Drives Product Group/ Drives Business Line (BL)/ Motion (M) Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the Product Engineering, your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects.

- Responsible for mechanical design of MV Drives.
- Mechanical parts qualification.
- Supplier quality follow up. Audit process and routine quality inspection
- Optimize assembly line, fixture and tools.
- Prepare work instruction.
- Cooling system design.
- BOM maintenance in ERP (SAP).

- University Degree with major in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or similar fields, Master Degree is preferred.
- 3+ years working experience.
- Experience in R&D or electrical drive relative product is preferred.
- Work well with others (suppliers, production, customer, engineering + etc.).
- ERP (SAP) system work experience is preferred.
- Familiar with Solid Edge or Pro/E, or another 3D tool.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
