As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Motion (MO) Business and Drives and Controls (BL) Business Line, based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (MO) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will provide financial and controlling expertise to the Drives and Controls (BL) Business Line / Motion (M) Business in Beijing state/China country/NAS region. You will support the LBL Controller in all financial aspects of the business performance and is responsible for monitoring, tracking and analysis of financial result from different angles.

? Prepare financial key data analysis and identify key business drivers and potential risks.
? Prepare executive summaries for monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis and assist in presenting for management team.
? Consolidate and participate in all aspects of financial forecasting and monthly variance analysis for LBL and LPG.
? Create, design and build dashboards and PowrBI analysis package to track performance targets and business objectives
? Improve financial and operational performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
? Support LBL controller with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as well as support finance manager to implement various financial projects.
? Seek out and collaborate with LPG controllers to incorporate business changes and interdependencies into forecast projections
? Team with Accounting and other Finance team members to review and analyze monthly results
? Share and leverage best practices
? Support finance manager for yearly budget activities.

? Bachelor’s Degree, major in Accounting/Business Administration and / or equivalent experience.
? Proficiency in SAP (SD, FI and CO modules), Excel and Power BI.
? Strong financial specialist, structured, result oriented and pro-active.
? Demonstrated high level of analytical and cross-cultural communication skills, strong accounting background preferred.
? Requires high level of coordination skills in order to collaborate with business teams.
? Good problem solving skill, approaching problems with open mind and persistence in order to implement sustainable solutions.
? High team spirit, Accuracy and Independence.
? Willingness to Learn / continuing education.
? Fluent in English.
