Position description
Cooperate with Project Leader and launch teams in the plants, in order to develop and introduce the optimal manufacturing concept during development and launch phase
Act as main interface to development, sales, quality and controlling for conception, planning and realization of the Production Line
Give advice to R&D teams for manufacturing technologies/Design To Cost and manufacturability
Drive Lean Check workshops, lead planning of manufacturing concepts following LCA (Low Cost Automation ) and Standard Lean Management Principles
Drive compliance to design for manufacturing guidelines and rules (design rules, LEAN aspects and robust processes)
Plan manufacturing introduction timing milestones and provide timing schedule to project team
Track and report of industrialization status (cost, timing, quality) in central reporting tools
Lead project for manufacturing issues, interface to plant services and focus factory including lead of local launch team (plant)
Support of series production in case of trouble shooting, change management and ongoing improvement measures
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree, major in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Automation (engineering related major)
Automotive industry working experience required in the fields of manufacturing, techno
