1875年，爱彼表audemars piguet在瑞士 jura地区vallee de joux （侏罗山谷）心脏地带的 le brassus（布拉苏丝）村庄创立，专门设计及生产精密复杂的钟表。作为钟表业的奇迹，爱彼表厂是世界上最古老的钟表企业之一，而其最难能可贵之处是创厂一百三十年来在其创始者家族手中经营。
