Manufacturing at ABB ranges from assembly of customized industrial robots to advanced production of electrical switches and breakers. The innovative products we make, drive the world’s largest ships, connect remote renewable power sources with consumers, and automate complex industrial processes.

As an Industry Engineer, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Drives (BU) Business unit, based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

？ Responsible for capacity evaluation, resource optimization, continuous improvement of production efficiency, help the production line solve problems.
？ Responsible for establishing standard working hours and Headcount quotas as the basis for improving plant efficiency and cost assessment.
？ Responsible for planning factory layout, optimizing logistics, increasing space utilization, optimizing flow line layout, maximizing efficiency.
？ Responsible for using Moving Research (MOD) method, improve working mode and line balance, improve working efficiency and reduce material scrap.
？ Responsible for analysis of Manufacturing Cost to Reduce Waste Cost and Manufacturing Cost.
？ Responsible for assembly line and packaging line automation, to reduce headcount quota and improve efficiency.

？ University Degree with Industry Engineer background in Foreign-Funded company and familiar with Mechanical and Electrical Products assembly.
？ 5 years of related work experience and IE or PQC background or work experience.
？ Good knowledge on 5S, JIT, Lean Production etc.
？ Good communications skills in English.
