Purpose of the Job
? Transfer, implement and set up new production activities and processes.
? To monitor and continuously improve existing processes or methods.

? Report to Industrial Manager

? Matrix interfaces - Engineering Platform/Sub-systems;
? Internal interface - Production/Project Management/Sourcing/Maintenance/Quality/Logistics/C&W
? External interface - Customers, Suppliers

Objectives
? Line set up for assembly and test
? Productivity improvement of assembly lines.
? Test facilities set up.
? Making prototypes.
? Communication with design units for design query/engineering change and their applications

Performance Measurement
? Production BOM in place in percentage
? Problem solving effectiveness and efficiency
? Routine on time and accuracy
? Improvement according to targets

Responsibilities
? Play key role of Technical Transfer receiver, work closely with TT in different design locations for the new traction project
? Develop workshop layout and continuous improvement for traction equipment assembly line.balance and workstation allocation
? Lean manufacturing implementation
? Set up TT/ standard work time, maintain BOM in ERP system(K3).
? Create assembly manual (SOP) and timely update
? Productivity improvement of assembly lines.
? Jig design and optimization
? Communication with design units for design query/engineering change and their applications.
? Involved in EHS activity
? Technical support to Sourcing/quality/C&W

Requirements
? Bachelor degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering
? Minimum 3 years work experience in electric equipment assembly/test industry
? Strong skills in change management.
? Familiar with management tools: FMEA, 5s, layout etc
? Familiar with 2D/3D software for instance, CATIA v5, AutoCAD...
? Fluent English written and spoken communication.
? Good command in MS Office applications and Lotus Notes
