职位描述
Job Purpose:
Manage the transportation service for the Greater China region to drive for service and cost improvement.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage and resolve the day-to-day operation issues related to end-to-end transportation to ensure on-time delivery performance.
Have good idea and knowledge about import & customs
Work with business units and service providers to improve supply chain cost & service performance, including the follow up of corrective actions.
Develop & maintain transportation SOP & SLA
Assist the Regional Logistics Manager in implementing supply chain solutions.
Tracking with transports and freight providers on needed information such as RFQ, RFI and carrier contract negotiation process.
Collate data for freight KPI reporting.
Freight bill audit
Review & follow up with carrier on corrective actions
Support as back-up to the Customs Specialist team.
Key Challenges
Will need to work cross-functionally within / out the country – Logistics, purchasing, warehousing and sales
Will need to work with different carrier
Will need to work with different systems and data sources to collate data & to compile freight performance reports.
Will need to translate business requirements and follow thru till obtain right information for business decision.
Skills, Know How and experience
Diploma holder (大专毕业)
2 years related experience in supporting multi-national freight logistics with proven track record in improving transportation costs and quality and tracking report.
Must be able to communicate effectively across all level.
Good MS Office skills. Strong in Excel. Microsoft Access knowledge preferred.
Background in working with forwarder or integrator preferred.
CET Level 4 or above with good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Certificate of customs declaration
Certificate of CIQ declaration
Job Dimensions:
Work with up to 5 inbound carriers, and up to 5 domestic carriers.
Work with 4 to 10 Premier Farnell locations outside Asia (currently: Farnell UK, Newark US, element14 Singapore, eluomeng Hong Kong / Taiwan)
Report to Shanghai Logistics Manager, dotted line to Regional Transportation Manager
