Job Summary:

In this role you will be a part of the Asia Pacific talent acquisition team partnering the HR Managers and/or hiring managers in managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all professional level positions in the assigned client group or geographical region to bring on best talents to West. As a subject matter expert, you will also provide expertise advice, support and analytical data on talent acquisition to the respective HR Managers. You will also be the gatekeeper on all talent acquisition processes and ensure compliance amongst all HR members who are involved in the talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with respective HR Managers to close all professional level openings through the most cost and time effective methods

  • Front and manage the end-to-end recruitment activities (include but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, offer negotiation) for professional positions assigned while keeping the respective HR Managers in close communication loop; be the single point of contact for this designated candidate group for all recruiting related queries in ensuring a high-touch candidate experience

  • Partner and provide support to HR Managers for managerial and above positions in areas such as (but not limited to) sourcing, phone screening, interview scheduling and reference checks; utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies with HR Managers

  • Proactively build and manage a recruiting pipeline for critical roles as identified with HR Managers to reduce time-to-hire

• Subject matter expert for talent acquisition

  • Provide guidance and expertise advice on best practices in sourcing strategy, selection and evaluation techniques and decision making to stakeholders

  • Stay abreast on market/industry developments that will potentially affect talent acquisition strategies and landscape; proactively provide such market intelligence to the relevant stakeholders

  • Drive adoption and maximize utilization of applicant tracking system (ATS) functionalities amongst HR stakeholders involved in the recruitment process

  • In collaboration with Communications team, drive a consistent employer branding and positive candidate experience for West (e.g. employment fairs, internships, employee referral program)

  • Provide talent acquisition related data and analytical support as needed to HR Managers

• Gatekeep and ensure compliance in talent acquisition related processes

  • Owner of the talent acquisition process and ATS for assigned client group; review and ensure data accuracy on ATS

  • Educate all HR stakeholders involved in the talent acquisition process to ensure consistency and compliance

  • Ensure all documentation received are completed and in accordance with the global/local policies

  • Train new HR stakeholders involved in recruiting process on the usage of the ATS

• Reporting / Analytics / Projects

  • Prepare and distribute monthly talent acquisition report/dashboard to HR Managers in a timely manner

  • Lead and/or participate in regional/global talent acquisition related projects

• Other relevant duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or related fields

• 5 – 8 years of end-to-end recruiting experience in an MNC environment

• Prior experience in recruiting for pharmaceutical, medical device and/or healthcare related industries will be highly advantageous but not mandatory

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Language - Strong proficiency in both the English and Chinese languages

• Legal - Extensive knowledge of local legislation related to the talent acquisition process

• Stakeholder Management – ability to effectively prioritize and manage both internal and external stakeholders/candidates

• Drive for Results/Closure – strong follow up skills with a healthy sense of urgency to close positions in the most effective manner

• Resilience and Prioritizing - has an open mind and flexibility to adapt and refine approaches to thrive in an environment with numerous stakeholders

• Technology Savvy – strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, ATS and technology/portals commonly used for recruiting

• Creativity – Ability to think-out-of-the-box and beyond the usual channels/tactics to compete for talents in the market

• Able and is aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy and as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

• Support and contribute in Lean Six Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

• Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times

• Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
