Job Description:
1. Responsible for web application development supporting business objectives, while providing expertise in software development lifecycle phases form concept and design to testing.
2. Analyses, designs and builds component-based applications in a Web/Internet delivery environment, including application layer, modelling techniques, component and object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding, and systematic approaches to application integration.
3. Performs hands-on coding, mentor junior developers and assists in architecting web based solutions.

Qualifications:
1. Degree holder in software engineering, information technology or relevant area.
2. At least 2 years GIS/Mapping development experience in one or more of the following system/tools:
(a) OpenLayers
(b) Google Maps and API
(c) ESRI ArcGIS (Server and Web API)
(d) Autodesk MapGuide/Map 3D or any other commercial GIS system
(e) GeoServer, MapServer, OpenScales or any of the OGC mapping framework
3. Have the knowledge/ability of network and Web Server (Linux and/orWindows) configuration/trouble shooting.
4. Fast learners who have less GIS experience but willing to learn quickly also welcome to apply.
5. Have good communication with the customer, takes a good deal abstract thinking and present ability.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Careful and responsible, can work under pressure.
