What are the PT Digital Business Teams all about

• PT aims to generate substantial future business through new business opportunities. Digitalization will be a key driver for this growth.
• Therefore three Digital Business Teams will be established with focus on users in their regions (industrialized markets and emerging markets): (1) PRO Industrialized Markets, (2) PRO Emerging Markets and (3) DIY Industrialized Markets
• The teams will be based in two locations: Team (1) & (3) in Berlin (Germany), team (2) in Shanghai (China).

Job Description

• Ensure common and sustainable IT architecture for new digital business model solutions
• Responsible for transferring user requirements into IT solutions
• Ensure know how in team with regards to Technological and market trends
• Support recruitment for other IT Architect Manager positions
• Build network with relevant Start-Ups and topic-related Think Tanks

Qualifications

• Successfully completed academic (business) IT studies
• At least seven years of experience in IT projects as software developer / solution architect designing, developing and deploying enterprise class solutions for high performance, scalable applications.
• Expert and deep knowledge of network and interface technologies as well as software development in various IT domains, enterprise infrastructure and components (servers, storage, database, application servers etc.). Architecture and hands-on knowledge of cloud & hybrid cloud integration, network security, continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Deep Understanding and hands-on experience with one of the leading API management platforms. Knowledge of API Management architecture and platform concepts.
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking, goal-oriented way of working and team player
• User focus (depending on Digital Business Team: PRO IM, PRO EM or DIY IM), purpose driven
• Willingness to travel to relevant markets
• Flexibility to work at different locations
• Communication skills, ability to deal with different stakeholders and teams
• Strong planning skills
• Analytical mindset
• Intercultural skills
• Passion to succeed
• Experience in agile working methods
• Language skills: Fluent in English
