UFS group is a fast growing team, which focuses on design/implement firmware solutions for UFS markets. As a Firmware Lead/Senior Firmware Engineer, you will work closely with exceptionally talented team members, including Architecture/FW/ASIC/FW test/PE/Flash Design/Customer support/…, to develop YMTC cutting-edge advanced UFS controller firmware. Your responsibilities will be including (not limited to):

- Design and implement firmware across the modules.

- Co-work with firmware architect to define the key firmware modules and their interaction. - Co-work with FTE to debug for firmware issues with efficiency.

- Tune the firmware performance, latency, power and relative requirements.

- Mentor and train (junior) firmware engineer, give guidance to the team on the design and relative code review.

任职要求:

- B.S. or above in EE, CS or equivalent required.

    

- 5+ years experiences in storage firmware development, solid knowledge in at least one of firmware modules (frontend, FTL, backend).

    

- Years of experience with design and implementation of key firmware module. - Demonstrated excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capability.

    

- Extensive experiences in C programming and embedded system development; excellent knowledge on firmware/software development methodologies.

    

- Solid knowledge of industry standards including SATA/SCSI/AHCI/PCIE/NVMe/ONFI/UFS/eMMC etc. - Solid knowledge of NAND Flash architecture and management.

    

- Solid knowledge of storage controller architecture, well knowledge on common core processor, eg. ARM.

    

- Good verbal and written communication skill in both English and Chinese. - Good communication skills to coordinate with different teams .

    

- Experienced with debug tools, eg. TLA/Scope/JTAG will be a plus.

    

- Experienced with ARM tool chain will be a plus.
