Job Title: Service Engineer

Report to: Regional Service Manager

Working Location: South China, based on Guangzhou

Remark: Salary needs negotiation

Job Specifications and Responsibilities:

• Provide required professional service to customers which including onsite machine installation, machine repair, system and software upgrade, machine maintenance, machine calibration, relocation, etc, completely follow Instron Service process and standards to make sure the deliverable met both Instron and customer expectations.
• Customer orientated thinking, relentless focus on customer’s results and needs, work through Instron process to solve customer’s problem and concerns, which finally ensure we keep delivering a world class level Service to our customers
• Drive regional service business based on professional onsite service results and customer satisfaction
• Keep understanding the situations/changes of the territory competition, close work with regional management team to define strategic plan to ensure Instron leading position in each territory.
• Sense of urgency, required to follow Instron escalation process to leverage necessary resource in solving customer’s problem in the best time manner
• Open in mind for technical sharing, cross discussion, lesson learn from cases, open communication with team mates and Tech support team to keep improving the overall Service level and efficiency
• Reporting , follow the internal process to provide data and records
• Team work, collaborate with cross functions, mutual understand other functions focus and take necessary roles to support for success, and co-work with other reginal team to support for urgent/complex Service request.
• Ensure that EHS conforms to Instron standard and local requirements, which will secure all our people and Service activities in safe and qualified situation.
• Ensure all activities compliance with company policy and requirements.
• Any other assignment from high management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, material or hydraulic engineering
• At least 3 years testing equipment field service experience
• Strong self-drive and management, self-learning
• High accountabilities for results
• Customer orientated thinking
• Sense of urgency
• Experience in material testing is preferred
• Project management skills is preferred
• Excellent English written / oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Office
• Be able to travel domestic at day to day work needs
