Job Description:
? Manage, lead and develop a team of technical and compliance engineers;
? Manage technical team to carry out quality, supplier CSR, technical support and compliance evaluation of the OEM/ODM manufacturers for Premier Farnell’s Private label program;
? Manage engineers’ QA schedule checks for pre shipment batch testing to ensure compliance and perform technical specification evaluation of a Private label product to ensure specification matches requirement;
? Manage technical support team to provide affiliates PMs and sales teams with technical enquiry support for all PL enquiries;
? Assess the Private Label certification documentation requirements for a product and ensure that submitted documentation matches products requested;
? Work closely with affiliates compliance teams to ensure all PL products meets compliance and documentation requirements for each geography;
? Develop process to review and verify OEM’s supplier’s product testing compliance to relevant standards and advise affiliates on product compliance status
? Management of team to develop and maintain an effective supplier audit process that ensures that any product liability risks are managed and mitigated

Job Requirements:
? As least 5 yrs of experience in QA and product testing experience for electrical devices or equipment with 2 years of management experience
? Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, CE, UL and MIL documentation requirements
? Broad technical knowledge in electronic products with proven commercial experience and integrity
? Previous experience of sourcing in Asia
? Strong problem-solving skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Good English skill both in reading and writing
? Positive – can do attitude.
? Ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment
? Keen attention to detail
? Strong analytical skills
