Key responsibilities:
-Drive the Customer Service operation towards delivery of Market Earnings target
-Acts as co-pilot and business partner to the customer service operational team and provide holistic finance knowledge
-Co - Develop the customer service strategy together with the customer service team and translate business needs into financial requirements and vice versa with focus on reaching the corporate targets
-Continuously monitor the developments in the operation and the marketplace in order to understand the financial impact and identify and challenge the operation to improve performance and improve or find new business models.
-Challenge customer service team through the use of external benchmarking, leveraging best practice and knowledge sharing
-Proactively identify business opportunities or risks
-Be the Liaison between Local and global Customer Service for performance reviews and the implementation of new initiatives
-Continuous Optimisation of various business and financial processes related to the customer service business, including dealer target setting, dealer incentive structure, variable marketing expenses and pricing
-Drive revenue management and pricing optimisation through business case management
-Development of new financial models and processes linked to the introduction of new business initiatives
-Inform the relevant Group Finance functions on Business initiatives and events that impact Tax, Accounting, internal control , … assumptions
-Contribute to development and improvement of Volvo Cars processes and tools
Qualification:
-8+ years’ experience in finance/controlling scope in MNC
-Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point (build analysis and simulation models and present the outcome)
-Good in oral and written English
-Self-motivated and independent, can work with minimum supervision and customer focussed
-Excellent communication skills
-Demonstrate ability to identify and implement change, adhere to deadlines and provide value-added analyses to management
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution oriented approach toward business issues
-Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment, striving to exceed expectations
-Familiarity with car industry / customer service/ importation business is a plus
