Job Objectives
? Responsible for all aspects of UX/UI design for the digital banking and non-digital banking initiatives to ensue design consistency across the online assets
Key Responsibilities
? Work closely with business representative and IT development to translate user experience into implementable requirements
? Set-up, enhance and maintain cross channels UX standards, principles and guidelines to be implemented across the channels
? Guide and coach front end developer to enhance UX
? Bring new ideas, challenge existing standards and push boundaries in a design thinking approach to continuously enhance the UOB user experience
? Participate in agile team activities, including: Story writing, planning, estimation, daily stand-ups
? Pair/ Consult with engineers, managers and cross-functional departments on software projects and the use of applications and tools
? Communicate effectively with vendors on software projects and maintenance
? Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to enhance and influence existing practice
? A passion for learning and the willingness to solve problems
Key Requirements
? Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
? Experience in working with design agencies
? Experience with Scrum or similar agile development
? Experience in design thinking
? Experience in customer analytics
? Experience in user community management
? A Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or any related field with strong education in web technologies
Desired/Big Plus:
? Experience in working with/ in agile/ scrum teams
? Experience with object oriented design principles and SOLID development practices
? Experience with a variety of source control and development tools
? Experience with cross platform (browser / mobile device) debugging
? Experience in DevOps
