Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description:

Supply Chain Analysts (SCA) work as individual contributors and/or on project teams with other Department Analysts and Project Managers. SCA is responsible to manage various business support functions in support of the customer's demand requirements and/or logistics, transportation and warehouse management. Key business support functions include supply schedules, order management, inventory management processes, domestic and international transportation of Intel's goods and/or materials, warehouse/lot storage model definition and management. Role may also include communication with upstream factories, materials organizations, manufacturing, engineering, planning and other supply chain counterparts to determine if supply pipeline, factory and warehouse capacity is available to support weekly commit and/or new product introduction. Develop and implement control system to move materials in a timely and cost effective manner. SCA also have responsibility on continuous improvement in pursuit of Operational excellence. The SCA identify process improvements based on thorough understanding of the business processes and supply chain dependencies. SCA participates in cross-functional teams involving various process improvement activities. SCA must possess high tolerance of ambiguity and ability to properly prioritize tasks/workload. SCA may work on several projects and/or programs simultaneously, managing multi stakeholders, constraint analysis, inventory analysis, Plan/POR, benchmarking and departmental indicators. Some SCA perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities, such as consulting on tools, systems, quality and controls, services, or processes; provide input to system/process design; and/or provide content knowledge support and troubleshooting.


Qualifications:

Entry level position for Recent College Graduate
Possess a Bachelor degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or any related discipline. An MBA or a Master in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering graduate is highly desirable.
Experience and knowledge of supply chain processes and tools (1-3 yrs), including but not limited to order and/or demand fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, supplier management, customs brokerage, and import/export processes is highly preferred.
Highly proficient in English both in oral and written communication.
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment coupled with initiative and in an organized manner with minimal supervision in an ambiguous environment.
Ability to interface professionally with all levels of personnel and with team members, customers or stakeholders from varying countries and cultures, both in person and over the telephone.
Ability to work in a flexible and continually changing environment.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good working knowledge in the area of supply chain; inventory management, logistics business processes, procurement and customer service support.
Good PC skills along with all the relevant Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to represent their stakeholders interests and working toward a worldwide solution
Proven success in fast-paced programs and/or projects
Proven analysis capabilities, operational management abilities and high initiatives and creativity.
