Description:
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated leader, with leadership experience who is seeking to lead and grow a mid-sized team. The candidate must possess a strong desire to quickly direct technical staff and make technical and architectural decisions. The candidate must understand procedures and hold his/her staff accountable for following these procedures. The candidate will have the opportunity to direct the growth of this design center, work on new product definition, generate new IP, and work with and define new technology.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have experience in research, definition, design, simulation, layout supervision, characterization and release to production of high-performance state of the art BiCMOS integrated circuits in the following areas:
1. Power Management -Switch Mode Power Supplies, Battery chargers, WLED driver, Camera Flash, LDOs, ...
2. Interface Circuits -SPI, I2C, USB, ...
Including the following functional blocks
1. Gain amplifiers
2. Bandgaps and references
3. Temperature sensors
4. Voltage monitors
5. State Machines
6. Real Time Clock
7. Xtal Oscillator (Low Power-Low Jitter)
8. Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters
Power management applications include:
1. Cell Phone
2. Tablet PC
3. PDA
4. Digital Still Camera
5. Digital Video Camera
Requirements:
1. MSEE/BSEE degree with 10+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development
2. Hands-on design experience with BiCMOS/CMOS mixed-voltage custom circuit designs
3. Must possess strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design and simulation
4. Must understand placement and layout issues with respect to mixed-signal ICs.
5. Consumer application experience a plus
