Description:
Join a team of worldwide leaders in design, development and manufacturing of analog, mixed signal, high frequency and digital circuits.
Maxim is looking for experienced Digital Design Engineers to be a part of a strong digital/mixed signal and IC integration team.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be involved in implementing digital functions (such as I2C/SPI, real-time clocks, power sequencers, and digital filters) within mixed signal ASICs for power management applications.
Power management applications include:
1. Smart Phones and Tablets
2. Digital Still and SLR Cameras
3. Mobile Internet Devices
Requirements:
1. MSEE/BSEE degree with 5+ years of industrial experience
2. 5+ years of RTL based digital design experience
3. 3+ years of digital verification experience
4. 2+ years of designing digital circuits on a Mixed Signal IC
5. Experience in writing simple models for analog circuits in Verilog, Verilog-AMS, wreal, or SystemVerilog.
6. Mixed-signal simulation such as Cadence AMS or DMS
7. Logic Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, and Logic Equivalency Checking.
8. Design for test, scan insertion, ATPG, Functional Test Vectors
9. Interfacing with Place & Route Engineer, Back-annotated simulation verification
10. Taken at least 2 projects through entire flow from specification to production
11. The individual must have the knowledge and capability to execute the entire design process without significant assistance
12. FPGA experience is a plus but not mandatory
13. Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) experience is a plus but not mandatory
