职位描述
RESPONSABILITIES:
Responsible for the daily basic food preparation in Pastry (chocolates, bakery...) and to delegate different sections
Maintain good hygiene and cleanliness standards by performing daily section inspections
Check food par stock
Ensure that par stock of mise-en-place is maintained
Update recipes with the Executive Chef
Inspect quality of all the production
Work closely with the Engineering Department on out of order equipment
Order all food items for special food promotions
0Be responsible for and accountable for the departmental operating budget
Find ways to improve the efficiency of the operations that will benefit our clients
Find ways of maximizing and increasing sales
Find methods of reducing costs without affecting the level of service or product received by the guests
Propose, and initiate when approved, new services and products for our guests
REQUIREMENTS:
3 years bakery, patisserie, chocolaterie, confiserie and glacier experience as Chef in a gastronomic Restaurant or luxury hotel
7 years relevant job experience
Quality driven with a passion for excellence.
Approachable, open-minded and fair
Flexible work hours
Must speak English or French
