RESPONSABILITIES:
Assist the Steward Chef and Executive Chef in supervising and assisting kitchen workers and stewards in their duties of providing and maintaining clean and sanitary work areas in all culinary areas
Ensure that both front and back of the house employees have the necessary items and utensils needed to operate the kitchens and dining areas
Demonstrates competence in using equipment, such as cleaning machinery, in a safe and competent manner.
Work closely with the Engineering Department on out of order equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years experience as Steward in hotel industry or Restaurant.
Must have working knowledge of equipment and associated chemicals.
Good communicator
Complete understanding of all department operations.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Must be rigorous
Approachable, open-minded and fair
High energy
