Introduction:
Responsible for mechanical design of products for industrial automation (SIMATIC product family).
Responsibility covers schedule, functionality, product costs, and quality of the work package assigned to him/her.
What are my responsibilities:
-Responsible for mechanical design of the product, covers specification, design, testing, supplier controlling, manufacturing introduction and maintains.
-Supply effort estimation for planning. Planning the assigned work package within the scope of process instructions. Align & control planning with supplier.
-Result documentation and transfer of work package.
-Contribution to internal measures for increasing productivity.
-Adherence to architecture, design, and quality guidelines, norms and laws (product design).
What do I need to qualify for this job:
-> 3 years experience in mechanical design of embedded electronics products for industrial automation.
-Experience as Mechanical Design Engineer of embedded product, particular in products for industrial automation covering plastic parts, sheet metal parts & die casting metal parts; Material knowledge.
-Mechanical Design related development process; CAE-tools (e.g. ProE, NX, CADIM, Team center); Experience in "design to cost" and "design for manufacturing".
-Good command of English, in both spoken & writing.
-Capable to cooperate and lead in a diverse, international environment.
-Experience in an international company is preferred.
