Introduction:
The firmware Developer is responsible for designing Firmware or Software applications according to product requirement, features and standards from customer point of view, implement development tasks assigned to them independently in the desired quality before the agreed deadline and ensuring product qualities by planning, preparing, realizing, and documentation of the work package assigned to him/her..
What are my responsibilities:
- Plan and estimate the time and effort of work packages assigned to him/her.
- Independently implement the work packages in a suitable way with balance of cost, schedule and quality, continues improvement for better solution.
- Team work with colleagues in a department and with team members in a project.
- Active in knowledge sharing. Active in problem solving with constructive proposal.
- Documentation of results and transfer of work package to next stage in the process.
- Check work results for patent qualification (utility patent, copy right, etc.) and, where required, generation of invention report.
What do I need to qualify for this job:
- 2~3 years development experience in Firmware or embedded Software.
- Experience with background in Automation applications is preferred.
- Application know-how (PLC and HMI application, Industrial PC or PC application know-how).
- Programming Languages in assembly/C/C++, developing environment and Tools (cross compilation, IDEs, gcc, etc.), working experience and knowledge in device drivers, TCP/IP/X.224 protocol stack and other embedded area, skills in modeling language (e.g. UML) is a plus.
- Tools related to Configuration management (e.g. CVS, clearcase, SVN, etc.), bug tracking and test management system (e.g. ARTS+).
- OO design patterns and methods, SW Test methodologies.
- Good command of English, in both spoken & writing.
- Capable to cooperate and lead in a diverse, international environment.
- Experience in an international company is preferred.
