Role Purpose
1. Provide expertise and judgement, under limited supervision, for the design and development of ANZ Commercial Refrigeration products assigned to the China-based Engineering Team.
2. Participate in teams for design, VA/VE, RFQ/ETO and product sustainment for ANZ products including testing, production and quality matters.
3. Facilitate coordination between manufacturing, quality departments and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
1 Engineering
- Participate in project teams for NPI, localisation and VA/VE activities.
- Under limited supervision:
o Assist the engineering team on matters relating to the China made ANZ products.
o Provide accurate translation of project design requirements for component selection, layout and pipework design, with 2D & 3D drafting of products on Solid Edge/Team Centre software.
- Provide design of products to meet the relevant standards, codes of practice and statutory requirements as per advice from engineering personnel and as per Design Briefs and other documents.
- Participate in product sustainment via liaison with other departments, managing document control and sharing via agreed systems and procedures.
- Assist with requests for quotation and engineered to order activities between Australia and China teams and China manufacturing.
- Participate in activities for the resolution of issues regarding product quality and variation from engineering specifications from suppliers and/or Wuxi manufacturing.
- Participate in:
o prototype manufacture and improvement as required
o Stage Gate activities for NPI, VA/VE and MCR activities as required.
o Product failure investigations as required.
o Other activities as reasonably determined by management from time to time.

2 Administration
- Preparation of design output data such as parts list, drawings and engineering change notices.
- Facilitate the control of product data in the manufacturing system via BOM’s and other manufacturing information.
- Actively engage and manage self-development with direct manager through performance management and individual development plans

4 Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience with 3D CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
- Fluent with English language and solid communication skills (oral & written)

5 Qualifications, Licenses and Accreditations
- Diploma preferred but minimum requirement for certificate in Electromechanical or Mechanical design with refrigeration major preferred. 举报 分享
