Job Description :
The job necessitates the candidate to develop, evaluate and validate active and passive device models across various digital CMOS process technology nodes. As a key member of Modeling team, this engineer will be responsible for SPICE model Quality Assurance (QA), verification and model releases. The candidate is expected to interact closely with foundry modeling/CAD teams and internal design/CAD teams to deliver quality and best-in-class SPICE models.

Job Requirements :
?Experience in a foundry environment supporting Spice modeling across multiple technology nodes and derivative technologies such as analog/mixed-signal, low-power, high-voltage etc. Expertise in spice model creation, modification and extraction. Strong understanding of DC, AC, transient behavior of the circuit elements.
?In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art CMOS process and device physics
?5 plus years experience in SPICE modeling of CMOS technology.
?Proficient in industrial standard SPICE models (BSIM3v3 and BSIMV4) and proficient with next-generation SPICE model development/evaluation (PSP, BSIM6).
?Experience in setting up SPICE QA flows, test structure development, benchmarking methodology
?Experience in interacting with external foundries and qualifying new technologies for design.
?Knowledge of CMOS circuit design and trade-off, DFM issues etc.
?Hands-on knowledge of EDA design tools (especially HSPICE, Spectre, ADE).
?Expertise in developing and using scripts for automation and data analysis.
?Strong knowledge of PDK Development, QA and support
?Desired hands-on electrical measurement experience.
?Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with team in US
