Position Overview:

§ Prepare drafted consolidation plan, then place corresponding booking to airlines

§ Prepare full set shipping documents according to shipper's letter of instruction and any other instructions as per SOP or as specified by supervisors.

§ The Export Operations Clerk (EOC) is responsible for arranging airfreight according to instruction within committed leading time as well as reasonable cost.

§ EOC is responsible for providing accurate booking/flight information to internal/external parties.


Key Outcomes:

n Achieve 95% or above on-time delivery for BUP consolidation plan

n Ensure 99% or above compliance of air export standard operation procedure.

n Maintain 95% or above accuracy in shipping documents and billing



Position Accountabilities

n Issue master and house airway bill via PROCARS system

n Prepare BUP consolidation plan as per supervisors' / managers' instruction

n Verify the correctness of document provided by shipper

n Monitor the correctness of documents for special licensed shipment

n Coordinate with CS for daily booking handover

n Coordinate with warehouse on BUP consolidation plan handover

n Make reservation of space from airline

n Prepare and send working instruction to sub-contracted service provider.

n Follow up the instructions of routing orders from overseas offices/agent

n Ensure the freight is moved within commitment.

n System data compliance.

n Solving operational problem and propose operation guideline.

n Preparing for necessary statistics report

n



Relevant Education Background, Hard Skill, Knowledge and Experience:
n Form 5 or above

n Minimum 1 year working experience in the freight forwarding industry

n Able to handle a full set air export documents

n Excellent typing skill

n Computer literate. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word

n Fair written and spoken English
