Kennametal: Making the difference that lasts
This position reports to HR BP Manager, commercial office. Will be in charge of 400 head accounts covering non-production functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technical, IT etc.
Individual Contributor Role.
Main Responsibility:
Organizational Development
? Provide advice, support and guidance to line managers (APAC Director to Supervisor Level) on effective HR management practices and counselling;
? Assist line managers in the implementation of appropriate organizational development & change management measures;
? Analysis of report and staff movement/turnover rate and productivity to make effective organization management & utilization to ensure business objectives are met.
Performance Management
? Review and co-ordinate the quarterly and annual review and assist in right tools use
? Support PIP process and top grade for low performance
Training and talent development
? New employee assimilation and probation management
? Assist in talent review and appropriate career path and development programs
? Assist in OD and develop, implementation and coordination of specific training and development activities to meet business needs and monitor progress in evaluation systems.
Compensation
? Support line manager and total rewards to make job evaluation; ensure all have right MRR and Grade.
? Assist total rewards design and implementation
Employee Relations
? Design and organize company’s engagement campaign, assist business on engagement survey training/analysis/improvement plan implementation
? Assistant business department for employee relationship handling, staffing process management.
? Lead on all compulsory redundancy processes, ensuring compliance with China labour law
Recruiting
? Assist job evaluation and interview candidate with 3rd part recruiting vendor
? Offer review and reasonable salary range
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline.
? Around 8 years’ experience in sizable Manufacturing/ Consumer business with solid experience in Business partner role.
? Understanding of cross-function HR practices and process.
? Good project management skills, strong culture building capability and employee relationship building experience.
? Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with leaders, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with different function team members of the organization
? Knowledge of China labour law and its practice in implementation
? Highly motivated, able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
? Positive thinking, proactive and open-minded.
? Strong business acumen and have a flexible and result driven approach on managing challenges and changes.
