I BROAD FUNCTION

The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for professionally determining, organizing and processing projects in the supply chain and operations areas, including requirement planning, project and team set-up, documentation, controlling and reporting, to ensure accordingly the required targets for quality, time and costs are met.

II PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Determining and collecting the project requirements from internal and external customers and preparing accordingly project objectives and budgets for approval application.
2. Carrying out and following up all tasks required to obtain approval for necessary projects.
3. Implementing the project according to the approved objectives and within the required time frame, using REHAU-wide standardised methods for the planning, implementation, controlling and monitoring of a project.
4. Controlling and monitoring of project activities with regard to type and content / contribution to achieving targets, deadlines, costs and profitability, investments.
5. Overall cost budget responsibility and decision-making authority for handling the cost budget within the project as part of the approved overall cost budget (taking into account the associated rules).
6. Leading the cross-functional project team as well as cooperating with regional and corporate experts to ensure best application of company knowledge.
7. Coordinating and leading relevant contractors, consultants and external expert for cost efficient and effective project support as part of the approved scope.
8. Regular reporting and recording of all project management related data and information as well as necessary presentation to steering committee and Management.
9. Risk management of the project and suitable and timely escalation of identified risks.
10. Identification of process improvement opportunities along the project management work as well as in the related supply chain areas.
11. Support of project-type tasks within the Supply Chain Management field.
12. Other tasks as required to support Management

III REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, SCM, Engineering, or Business Administration required, major is preferred
- Project Management certificate or accreditation are an advantage

EXPERIENCE
- 3-4 years in project management or supply chain management functions

CORE COMPETENCIES
- Project management best practice
- MS Office and PjM Tools
- Supply Chain and Logistics Processes

SKILLS
- Planning and organizing skills, analytical and data processing skills
- Communication and interaction, team leading skills
- Able to work in a cross-functional, inter-cultural team
