Job Summary:

Perform planning activities including material analysis and planning, consumption analysis, purchase request generation, and coordination between engineers and suppliers.

Deploy planning tools to guarantee high level of customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Analyze Replenishment Data

2. Initiate, review and process Purchase Demand / Requisitions

3. Act as the primary customer (requestor) contact regarding forecast, new part adds, Min /Max/ROP, backorders, etc.

4. Responsible for meeting with Tool Owners to review forecast, changes, new part adds, etc.

5. Inform the appropriate individuals (buyers, site leads, managers) of any issues related to the material shortages that may cause a machine down

6. Coordinate and perform physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of inventory assets.

7. Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system including master records, BOM's, etc

8. Manage quality issues, providing strategic analysis and make recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives

9. Identify & develop material savings projects to generate cost savings

10.Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills:

1. Be able to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment, while also being an individual contributor

2. Inventory level management and planning, matching forecast demand with on hand, on order, or in transit quantities

3. Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Materials Management processes and inventory management methodologies

4. Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel (Able to work with pivot tables, use lookup formulas, etc.)

5. ERP system experience

6. Effective oral & written communications skills – Excellent English is mandatory

7. Strong analytical skills with focus on critical thinking and business process management

8. Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with little supervision

9. Strong customer service (external & internal customers) and interpersonal skills

10.Ability to manage cost/profit

11.Exceptional organizational & prioritization skills

Education/Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Engineering degree a plus, but not required.

2. Prior Planning Experience in a Manufacturing setting

3. Prefer experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
