MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Use personal expertise to develop new business opportunities with the team.
- Encourage creativity in developing new avenues of business.
- Ensure sales targets are achieved at individual and team level.
- Conduct regular field visits to support sales personnel, build customer relationship and look for business opportunities.
- Optimise processes and looks continuously for new business opportunities.
- Take initiative in proposing and executing sales promotion and marketing activities.
- Continuously monitor channel sales readiness to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Develop the skill level of the individuals in the sales team
- Make sure the sales team has the right tools to perform the assigned tasks.
- Provide support to the direct sales executives with complex sales cycles.
- Conduct annual performance appraisal, set goals and take corrective actions
- Ensure the sales team achieves the maximum benefit from using the sales cycle management system
Experience:
- At least 5 years of sales management experience in the IT equipment or OA industry.
- At least 10 year of sales management experience. (National Direct Sales Manager)
- Prior experience in AEC and MFG industry desirable.
- Aggressive and result driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven negotiation skills
