Main responsibilities

1 To dedicate to Automotive Manufacturing Project on following area:
？ Early involvement in project and work proactively with cross-functional team members to ensure lower project procurement cost
？ Sourcing potential suppliers and initiate potential supplier shortlist for Manufacturing team assessment and qualification
？ Initiate potential supplier assessment , supplier qualification assessment and select qualified suppliers to meet project requirement with project team
？ Propose, recommend and implement suitable strategies to obtain a competitive advantage in commercial terms such as cost, quality, delivery, payment term etc
？ Assistant project team on quality control of goods delivered
2 To develop supplier base and monitor supplier’s performance and encourage supplier to keep up with continuous improvement on cost and service
3 To Develop and manage collaborative relationships with suppliers to reduce total costs and improve performance of supply chain
4 To maintain Volvo commercial database to meet business development requirements
5 Other jobs assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading and writing
2. Initiate cost saving opportunity for FMSP investment
3. Capability to organize and lead purchasing activity with cross function team
4. With good communication skills & teamwork

Experience Required

1.Engineering or commercial background with rich experience in automotive industry
2. More than 5 years working experiences in well-known OEM or tier 1 supplier of automotive industry, including at least 2-3 years facility or construction or equipment sourcing background

Competencies

1 Sense of responsibility, strong personality and high skill of teamwork as well as work under pressure
2 Proficiency in English listening,speaking,reading and writing
3 Familiar with cost analysis tools and good negotiation skills
4 Capability to organize and lead purchasing activity with cross function team
