Brief Description of Duties/Key Results to be achieved: Responsibilities include...
? Review Project specification and highlight technical query/deviation
? Perform basic design and detail engineering including preparation of engineering documents & drawings in accordance with project document schedule
? Selection and sizing of flow elements, final control elements and other instruments
? Evaluate vendors quote to ensure specification and documentation compliance, assist in procuring instruments in accordance with project requirement and applicable codes
? Review Subcontractors/vendor's documentation to ensure conformance with project requirements as well conduct staged inspection at Subcontractors workshop/inspection of received goods
? Conduct internal test and FAT with customer together with Software & Test engineer
? Help project manager in project coordination, execution and follow-up
? Provide guidance to Instrument Designer as required
? Coordinate with Software/Mechanical Engineer/Project Administrator as well as customer on technical matters for successful completion of the project
? Provide support to Document Controller for Project Final Documentation compilation
? Provide engineering support to Sales and Proposal team in project pursuit
? Other duties as may be required.
Required Qualifications & Experience/Skills:
? Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
? Conversant with ASME/ANSI, API, ISO, AGA, GPA and other international codes and standards applicable for Custody transfer flow measurement systems, ability to execute tasks independently
? Minimum 5 years of experience in the design/project execution of custody transfer metering system/Analyser Systems/Instrumentation Systems for Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry.
? Fluent in oral and written English and preferably in another language useful to the region covered.
? Good knowledge of PC application programs
? Good personality, interpersonal and communication skills, good analytical and judgmental skills
