The Bookworm is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team to manage the finance and administrative aspects of our café, books and events business. The position will be Chengdu-based but the role also involves supervising the finance and administration sections of the Beijing and Suzhou branches, and so will involve occasional travel to these cities.


Duties will include:

* Managing the income and expenditure records of the business.
* Processing supplier payments
* Cost Control
* Stock Control
* Managing payroll
* Producing regular Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets
* Working with our auditing firm to ensure all our financial and tax obligations are up to date.
* Ensuring licenses and respective paperwork are kept up to date with various government ministries
* Managing HR matters
* Assisting with the financial and administrative aspects of any business development plans that may arise


The successful candidate should have bookkeeping and administrative experience and be capable of working independently in a small but multi-faceted business. They should be familiar with Chinese laws and regulations, and speak English competently. 举报 分享
