Main Purpose:
Manage all Supply chain & Logistics activities with regards to planning quantity/mix of production volumes, inventory management and contribute towards local and global process improvements, support the strategic imperatives in collaboration with operations work-flow, with special focus on operational agility and capacity planning.
Provide supply chain & logistics leadership and maintain pro-active business partnerships for the Chengdu Operations in alignment with corporate strategy and vision.
Effective leadership ensuring Supply chain function team’s operational efficiency, lean mindset and culture enhancement.
Responsible for logistic functions including receiving, shipping, material replenishment to production line and maintain inventory accuracy, controlling of all production materials.
Key Accountabilities:
? Develop and implement processes and strategies to improve material and product flow from supplier to customer. Maximize customer service levels at optimal cost, Make continuous improvement on lead time, quality and the number of inventory turns. Implement pull systems between internal and external suppliers following LEAN principles.
? Analyze demand with provided capacity tool and suggest projects/initiatives to improve and support manufacturing starts, schedules & delivers.
? Improve, develop and manage supply chain and logistics processes and procedures, reporting and/or analysis, in order to provide management with timely and accurate information on the local based operations.
? Coordinate with finance on matters involving inventory and obsolescence management and lead Kaizen – Improvement ideas implementation within the SC area.
? Develop tools/metrics which increase awareness and understanding, and measure progress of supply chain & logistics activities towards strategic goals (i.e. agility, uplift capacity).
? Effective talent management including team work allocation, performance management as well as individual development support, thus achieving peak productivity and performance within the department in line with talent development approach.
? Ensure staffing (number, qualifications) of supply chain & logistics team stays up-to-date with the demands of the business to ensure maximum agility.
? Establish effective, collaborative relationships with all internal business partners (Global Supply Chain other manufacturing facilities, IT, Distribution Centers, external service providers and suppliers.)

? Preferably with a minimum of 2 to 3years of related experience in leadership role with a strong track record of delivering results
? Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
? Practical experience in manufacturing processes and understanding of raw materials, components and finished goods management for Medical device.
? Practical experience of inventory control practices, Kanban and MRPII techniques.
? Practical experience in production planning with capacity leveling.
? Experience and understanding of working in a quality controlled environment for Medical Devices.
? Experience with import and export controls and customs.
? Experience in Lean Manufacturing culture, systems and tools.
? Nice to have experience in procurement management
Qualifications:
? University or Master Degree in technical field or related experience
? Fluent in English language
