职位描述


Position Title: Sales Engineer


The role of the Sales Engineer has been created to exploit sales and support for the entire range of HWM products in North China/South China/West China. This will include leak detection, pressure management, flow management, environmental monitor products sales and technical support. The role will report directly to the China Sales Manager. The successful candidate will work in Halma local office


Basic Function and Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing an ongoing program of sales activities that will produce a volume of orders that is equal or in excess of the company’s sales forecast. Specific responsibilities will include:

l Explore major opportunities in territory area by identifying sales prospects and visiting existing and potential customers; coordinate with regional HWM distributor network, and China Sales Manager to convert the opportunity into orders

l Help China Sales Manager develop region and industry distributors in assigned region. Manage and support local distributor.

l Prepare quotes and technical solution to customer requirements, Work with Application Engineer to propose best solutions to customer and sales partners

l Achieve annual sales plan through major accounts and distributors. Key contributions include: providing sales leads; technical support; sales and technical training; and participating in development of sales and marketing programs in the region

l Prepare and report including sales activity, market and competitor information and other report as required by Manager.

l Manage time in order to maximize presence in face-to-face sales visits with existing and potential customers, with special emphasis on developing key accounts and other large opportunities (50-75% time domestic traveling expected)

l Take a range of presentations, seminars, trade shows ,exhibitions and conferences of our products and capabilities to the China Water and environmental industry

l Other duties as assigned

Experience, Qualifications and Education:



Sales Engineer will take sales and support to the market for our products. He must be able to work autonomously, be results driven and determined to succeed. The candidate must have demonstrated accomplishments in sales development.


The preferred candidate will have below experience/qualifications and educational background:


l A proven track record (> 3 years) in sales applying leak detection, pressure management, flow,level management products in water supply networks,drainage administration ,and environmental field. Or selling related equipment. Related experience in selling and managing in a capital goods industry is required. A strong technology background is desirable

l Ability to effectively interact with Customers to directly answer technical questions and solve technical problems

l The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university in water supply and drainage engineering, municipal engineering, environmental engineering or closely related technical field

l This position requires the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is imperative.

要求具有英语阅读和一定沟通能力.


l Candidate experienced in leakage detection equipment, pressure management system and flow management in NRW control have an added advantage

具有供水漏损产销差管理,调度管理,压力管理,流量管理,排水及环境监测行业液位管理设备销售经验者优先.



Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package will consist of an attractive and competitive base salary, which will be determined, in part, by the successful candidate’s level of professional experience. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in an incentive bonus program which is based on the achievement of specific individual and company goals.
