Essential Responsibilities
The R&S Product Marketing Leader coordinates, leads, and manages the execution of the marketing plan for Respiratory & Sleep within China. This covers the entire R&S portfolio from Hospital to Home, with a particular focus on the Value critical care ventilation segment. The Marketing Leader identifies opportunities for growth and market share gain. Then based on deep market understanding of customer segment needs, creates a China specific product/portfolio strategy including product positioning and current portfolio evolution; installed base growth strategy and collaborates with regional marketing on lifecycle management strategy. Provides input to the new product/solutions roadmap development, and serves as a pivotal link between the global product and downstream regional teams.
·Utilizes Gold Standard marketing practices and skills to develop and execute the marketing plan for a product segment/category/portfolio. Responsibilities include VOC gathering, Marketing Blueprint development and collaboration, segmentation, targeting and positioning to align messaging, tactics, commercial channel tools and execution for success
·Employs market research, clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization in developing the China commercial strategy for a product segment/category/portfolio.
·Understands customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought. Prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities and utilizes market research and data to develop business cases in conjunction with strategic marketing, regional product marketing and product leaders.
·Collaborates with Marketing Communications and PR to develop regional communication plans. Develops communication “assets” (collateral, images and training tools/courses) that can be deployed in the execution of regional communication plans. Responsible for capturing and reporting upon relevant metrics.
·Collaborates with Product Leaders, Global Marketing and Engineering to provide input to the product development roadmap, to develop, test and prototype new product ideas, develop differentiation, define product value propositions, collect evidence of value and creating regulatory claims.
·Owns launch plans for new products in the region with appropriate product positioning, segment/region-specific value propositions and distribution strategies.
·Executes all demand generation and awareness activities for a product in a given region (including trade shows, customer events, advertising, telemarketing campaigns, promotions). Works with Marketing Communications on developing positioning/messaging, tools and collateral for NPIs. Works closely with regional marketing on internal training, external launch events/announcements and sales campaigns.
·Leads operating rhythm with the segment marketing team to ensure execution of marketing plans (collecting VOC – research, advisory boards, concept testing; communication and promotional plans – events; regional show site development), development of regional Key Opinion Leader relationships in collaboration with regional Marketing and dissemination of best practices and customer success.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. Minimum 5+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
4. Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
5. Excellent oral and written communications skills
6. Strong analytical and process skills

1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. 8+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
4. Healthcare product/industry acumen

6. Experience managing a global brand
