Title : Testing Engineer / Senior Testing Engineer

Job Summary
Testing Engineer will be responsible for the creation of test cases and the execution of functional, regression, integration, and security tests. He or she must be detail-oriented, possesses effective communication and documentation capabilities, and is committed to delivering quality software components.

Essential Job Functions
？ Perform functional, regression, integration, and security tests on applications
？ Extract test cases from technical and use case specifications
？ Document testing strategy(for senior testing engineer), test plan(for senior testing engineer) test scenarios, test cases
？ Adhere to testing policies, process and procedures
？ Interact with development team to verify application functionality and defect resolutions
？ Log defect descriptions and step-by-step procedure to reproduce the identified problem
？ Adheres to industry-accepted testing methodology and standards
？ Commitment to project quality and on-time delivery
？ Whenever necessary, must be willing to work on weekends and after-hours to achieve important project deadlines
？ Familiarity or experience with software project management
？ Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
？ Possess excellent business ethics and professionalism
？ Encourage creativity and forward-thinking suggestions
？ Provide timely feedback on matters relating to team performance


Minimum Requirements
？ Four-year degree in a technical area or equivalent experience
？ Minimum of 2-years experience in testing with an overall 2-3 years of industry experience
？ Minimum of 1-year experience in testing multi-tier software applications
？ Good English communication skills: written and verbal. Must be able to pass CET Level 4 or above
？ Excellent Chinese Mandarin communication skills: written and verbal
？ Exposure to development methodologies: Rational Unified Process
？ Exposure to IEEE-829-1998 test documentation standard, a plus
？ Exposure to client server, web and testing technologies
？ Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
？ Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
？ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
