Job Summary
Testing Engineer will be responsible for the creation of testcases and the execution of functional, regression, integration, and securitytests. He or she must be detail-oriented,possesses effective communication and documentation capabilities, and is committedto delivering quality software components.
Essential JobFunctions
§ Perform functional, regression, integration, and securitytests on applications
§ Extract test cases from technical and use casespecifications
§ Document testing strategy(for seniortesting engineer), test plan(for senior testing engineer) test scenarios, test cases
§ Adhere to testing policies,process andprocedures
§ Interact with development team to verify applicationfunctionality and defect resolutions
§ Log defect descriptions and step-by-step procedure toreproduce the identified problem
§ Adheres to industry-accepted testing methodology andstandards
§ Commitment to project quality and on-time delivery
§ Whenever necessary, must be willing to work on weekends andafter-hours to achieve important project deadlines
§ Familiarity or experience with software project management
§ Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
§ Possess excellent business ethics and professionalism
§ Encourage creativity and forward-thinking suggestions
§ Provide timely feedback on matters relating to teamperformance
§ Interest in business analyzing is preferred

Minimum Requirements
§ Four-year degree in a technical area or equivalentexperience
§ Minimum of 2-years experience in testing with an overall 2-3 years of industryexperience
§ Minimum of 1-year experience in testing multi-tier softwareapplications
§ Good English communication skills: written and verbal. Must be able to pass CET Level 4 or above
§ Excellent Chinese Mandarin communication skills: writtenand verbal
§ Exposure to development methodologies: Rational UnifiedProcess
§ Exposure to IEEE-829-1998 test documentation standard, aplus
§ Exposure to client server, web and testing technologies
§ Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
§ Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
§ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,deadline-driven environment
