Title: (Associate) Technical Architect

JobSummary:
The Associate Technical Architect workswith all developers to ensure the optimum technical solution is utilized in thedevelopment of new and existing applications. He or she also reviews and contributes to design, deliverables, enforcescoding and design standards, and provides technical support for teams. Thisindividual should have extensive J2EE, Web, Web services, and Java experience,as well as a working knowledge of UNIX (Linux) and Windows operating systems.

This individual will spend a lot of timeliaising with people from all backgrounds - from customer, management to businessanalyst and developer - to make sure the project meets the needs of the enduser and the organization.

JobResponsibilities:
?Follow the Company's software development processes and industry's bestpractices to produce high quality software applications
? Design software components/modules/systems tosatisfy system business requirements
? Develop complex software modules
? Participate in peer design and code reviewsessions

? Research new technologies/methodologies,develop proof-of-concepts, and present findings and recommendations
? Solve technical problems or recommend alternative solutions to team

? Must be willing to work beyond regularbusiness hours to achieve important project deadlines, only whenever necessary
? Adapt rapidly to changes in developmentenvironment, business requirements, and technical design

JobRequirements:
Ø Experience & Education
? Four-year degree in any computer science-related field or equivalentexperience
? Minimumof 4-year experience in designing and developing multi-tier softwareapplications
? Exposure to building scalable, mission critical applications
Ø Technical
? Exposure with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
? Familiarwith UML and Design Patterns
? Exposure to development methodologies: Rational Unified Process andAgile methodologies
? J2EEtechnologies experience of POJO, JSP/Servlet, JDBC, Ant and other deploymentscripting, JUnit, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JMS,JTA and Web Services
? Web technologies experience of Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX (DWR, JQuery,or DOJO),
? Data-related technologies experience of SQL, SQL Tuning, Database design,
? Working knowledge of Windows or UNIX-based operating systems
? Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
? Experiencein building scalable, mission-critical applications
Ø Language & Communication
? Ability to communicate effectively in bothverbal and writing English with all levels within the organization
? Excellent Chinese Mandarin communication skills is a must
? Demonstrated ability to work effectively in afast-paced, deadline-driven environment
? Possess excellent business ethics and professionalism
? Ability to lead and mentor other engineers
