Position Summary:

Responsible for software and system level testing of Car infotainment system
Responsible for all system test events, provide quality reports to CPM

The following list of duties describes the primary tasks executed by the Development group. The manager of the group will be called upon to ensure that these tasks get completed.
1. Responsible for software and system level testing of Car infotainment system
2. Develop and review test cases according to the Product Specification
3. Setup test environment in lab and car
4. Draft test plan based on project schedule and test resource
5. Ensure the software is downloaded and configured correctly in the respective target. Follow closely each test case, make necessary trace during the test and input of test results into Harman Tracking System
6. Track test issues actively by communicating with developers and customers
7. Have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth technical assistance during the lab and road tests
8. Leverage test process by improving efficiency. Leverage team’s know-how by providing new test technologies


Basic Qualifications:

1. BSEE minimum requirement. Advanced Engineering degree preferred
2. 5+ years in Automotive Industry or other QS9000 compliant work experience desired
3. 3+ years of team leader experience in a 3-4 members team
4. Deep understanding of infotainment system. Hands on testing of CAN/Diagnostic/Car body
5. Excellent test sense. Bug hunter. Think from customer’s perspective and capable of digging out critical bugs from complex scenarios
6. Familiar with test process, capable of making test strategy and manage risk
7. Knowledge of quality processes and tools (e.g. SPICE, JIRA, Scrum)
8. Strong sense of responsibility, good communication and presentation skills
9. Excellent oral and written English skills
10. C-class driving license with driving experience is preferred
