Position Overview:

WatchGuard's Beijing Development Center is lookingfor quality assurance engineers to join the global UTM leader. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the complete product R&D and testing cycle.

Job Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Familiar with protocols such as SIP,IPSec, DHCP, SMTP/POP3, SNMP,etc.
• Basic network devices knowledge suach as routers and switches.
• Knowledge of software testing, including QA process and QA methodologies
• Experience with one or more scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python and Unix shell
• Project experience on Linux/UNIX
• Understanding of software development process
• Having s basic skill for problem solving
• Outstanding communication skills in both Chinese and English

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform technical and functional quality analysis of pre-release WatchGuard network security products. Review and analyze technical and user documentation for technical accuracy. Document and report test results, test methodology, and project status to the product team in a clear and concise manner. Improve and streamline methods and practices to increase testing and reporting efficiency.

Eucation/Skills/Environment:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field with several years of working experience in system and software quality assurance, Master is prefered

3-5 years experience as a QA Test Engineer

Working Conditions:

Position primary works in office environment. Sitting for long period of time, use of computer monitor and kerboard is required
