Instrument services is one of the four strategic growth areas of Keysight, owned by the Services Solutions Group (SSG). We are looking for a highly skilled metrology engineer who has the capability and ambition to investigate and contribute to technological breakthroughs in instrument calibration, services and metrology for our customers worldwide.
The team you will be working with consists of global talents who together have expertise over 150 years. We have great engagement with different Keysight business groups as well as metrology experts and customers all over the world. Joining us, you will gain in-depth knowledge and experiences on vast types of instruments, measurements, metrology standards and accreditation, as well as a global vision and multi-cultural mindset.

Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and validate calibration procedures and measurement uncertainties for different kinds of instruments and devices.
- Authorize and maintain metrological standards, policies and guidelines.
- Assist Keysight global laboratories with standard compliance; determine root causes of audit findings and provide legitimate solutions.
- Support Keysight global laboratories to expand and upgrade technical capabilities (CMCs).
- Promote Keysight’s leadership in metrology.
External Qualifications MUST:
- BS in Electronics Engineering or similar; higher degree is strongly preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience of developing calibration method and procedure for electrical / electronic instruments and devices and estimating measurement uncertainty in accordance with GUM.
- Broad knowledge of measurement in the field of DC & LF, RF & microwave, time and frequency, etc.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English; a proactive communicator.
- An independent learner and interdependent team player; self-driven and result-oriented.
- Able to multi-task and determine priorities; flexible to work in an international team.
PREFERRED:
- Solid knowledge in microwave theory and applications is highly preferred.
- Experience of working in a multi-national / cross-functional environment.
- Familiar with metrology standards (such as ISO 17025, ILAC G8 and Z540.3) and assessment process from ILAC accreditation bodies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in technical presentation.
- Ability to program with Matlab, C#, VBA etc.
