General Summary

Responsible for sourcing & purchasing direct materials, supplier management, support MRO and Primary & Secondary tooling buyer, and support SCM manager to manage purchasing function..

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. BOM materials cost control to reduce the PPV.
2. Strongly participate in evaluation and selection of suppliers and subcontracts and follow up the entire quality improvement technical request required to be undertaken by the vendor.
3. Issue blanket orders where applicable to optimize working process or receive volume discount pricing.
4. Create purchasing contract and other agreement as required with supplier directly for both local and oversea supplier.
5. Cooperate with global team leader and support buyer for MRO and Primary & Secondary tooling purchasing activity.
6. Supplier performance evaluation and other report.
7. To support materials delivery and excess problem along with materials scheduler to reach the target for on-time receiving and stock turnover.
8. Lead VEVA , Cost saving, and Productivity improvement project and coordinate with related function to reach the target.
9. Coordinate new program launch, especially for raw materials preparation.
10. Perform other delegated tasks by supervisor.

Qualification

1. Bachelor degree, major in engineering will be preferred.
2. 5 years or more experience in sourcing/purchasing
3. SQE experience will be preferred.
4. Good problem solving and negotiation skill.
5. Be familiar with market of purchasing goods and its raw materials.
6. Strong organizational and project management skills
7. Initiative, aggressive, and positive.
8. Good sense of quality control and concept of Lean manufacture.
9. Have good computer skills of Word, Excel, MRP system and English.
