Job Description
As part of a dynamic team, the HW/PAE Manager will be responsible for managing a HW/PAE team that supports customers with hardware and firmware activities, related to Conexant products. The candidate will also manage HW system development, which HW/PAE team is also responsible for supporting. The successful candidate would be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities

? Own customer support process related to firmware and HW.
? Manage customers’ technical support requests and drive, as appropriate, issue escalations to R&D departments.
? Train Conexant FAEs and sales team on demos and company products.
? Manage, lead and guide team on development of HW/PCB systems.
? Own fulfillment of evaluation/demo systems to customers and sales/FAEs.
? Establish/contribute to processes which reduce risks of customer system integrations and improve efficiencies/effectiveness of existing processes.
? Responsible for approving timesheets, expense reports and PTO; additionally, provide employees with guidance on professional development and performance assessments.
? Review team created project plans and identify deficiencies and corrective measures.
? Mentor PAEs to enhance both technical & general customer support skills.

Experience/Education Required
? Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
? Four years or more managing a team of five or more direct reports.
? Three or more years of experience in customer support role.
? Experience leading a team of electrical engineers and also acting as a “hands-on” technical contributor
? Experience with EE schematic design and PCB layout.

Experience/Skills Desired

? Familiarity with tuning audio systems.
? Experienced with audio analyzers and test equipment (e.g. Head Acoustics, B&K, Listen SoundCheck, etc.)
? Familiarity with noise suppression, echo cancellation DSP technologies. 举报 分享
