As a result of tremendous growth, UpToDate is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to develop the Chinese market for us. Using your expertise in healthcare/hospital sales, you will be responsible for selling our software program to larger institutional accounts in Mainland China - including hospitals, medical schools and Universities. You will also be responsible for coordinating the individual sales to physicians in this market with our Marketing Group based in the USA.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Greater China, and based from our Beijing office, your responsibilities will include:

Developing the Medical/Hospital and academic market – targeting major Hospitals, Medicall schools and their teaching Hospitals.

Managing all stages of the relationship sales effort - starting from targeting the accounts plus making the initial contact to closing the sale.

Coordinating with existing accounts to manage, and ensure the renewal of the UpToDate subscription

Develop, manage and strengthen excellent, long-term relationships with our end users, Key opinion leaders and decision makers – including Heads of Departments and Hospital Directors

Pro-actively develop usage within our client sites via on-site training, presentations and demonstrations

Increasing awareness of UpToDate at existing and new sites

Attending Medical congresses and demonstrating the UpToDate product.

Required skills and experience:-
所需技能与经验:
At least 3-4 years proven sales experience gained from working in the Medical Devices, Medical Software or Medical publishing/Information Services sales.

A thorough understanding of the Hospital/Medical sector and sales process in these institutions

An established network of key contacts and decision makers within the hospital market

Able to establish rapport, and develop long-term relationships at all levels of the organization – including physicians, medical librarians and, most importantly, top management within Hospitals
